Virus

This piece for was a project where we had to take some block information like text on a subject and creating something innovitive and interesting to make the subject matter interesting. We had several topics to choose from and I choose the topic on viruses and had the idea of creating a flash game to represent the topic.

The flash uses actionscript to move around the virus character and keep him within cartain bounds. This virus character can then touch the cells to "kill" them which uses hit tests to check for contact between the virus and the cell. The last piece of scripting uses in this is a counter which is added to each time a cell is killed and changes the information which is displayed.
